integratedliving is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering health and wellbeing services to older Australians in rural, regional and remote communities. With a vision to support people to live well and independently in their homes and communities, integratedliving delivers aged care, disability support and clinical health services with cultural sensitivity, compassion, and a commitment to equity. Their work reaches across vast geographies, helping thousands of people live more connected, supported lives.
The Board plays a vital role in stewarding integratedliving’s purpose, strategy, and impact. Directors are responsible for effective governance in accordance with the organisation’s constitution, the Aged Care Act 2024, and other regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include contributing to strategic direction, ensuring quality and safety in service delivery, managing risk, overseeing CEO performance, and upholding financial integrity. Directors are also required to actively participate in Board committees, meetings, and strategic forums, both virtually and face-to-face. This is a remunerated role, requiring a time commitment of approximately 15–20 days annually.
Specialist skills and experience we are seeking for these various appointments:
· Finance expertise – CPA / CA qualification and ability to Chair the Finance Committee, must have CFO experience
· Legal / Audit or Risk expertise
· First Nations member
You are an experienced Non-Executive Director with a passion for equitable access to health and aged care. A Fellow or Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (or similar), you bring strategic thinking, sound judgment, and financial literacy to the table. You value cultural safety and understand the needs of diverse communities, including First Nations peoples and those in remote settings. Experience with organisations of national scope or operating in dispersed environments is desirable.
