The organisation is now embarking on an ambitious finance transformation. Current systems and manual processes are limiting the ability to realise emerging opportunities in the marketplace. NECA has selected a cloud-native ERP platform purpose-built to modernise and automate financial operations for mid-sized businesses, as well as an implementation partner, to deliver the new finance architecture. For a period, legacy and new systems will run in parallel while the change management and model for future‑state processes are set to ensure a smooth transition, enabling NECA Education & Careers to scale with greater agility and impact and take advantage of market opportunities.

About the Head of Finance Transformation

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance Transformation will lead this major redesign of finance processes and practices across the organisation, anchored by the implementation of a new finance system. This is a strategically important role that will bring best-practice insights to financial operations, streamline workflows, and embed efficiencies that support future growth. You will oversee the end-to-end system implementation with delivery partners, consult with internal stakeholders, manage external vendors, and champion change management to ensure smooth adoption across the business.

About You

We are seeking a CA / CPA qualified accountant with proven experience in finance transformation and system implementation. You will bring deep knowledge of financial operations and compliance, a track record of driving process improvement, and the ability to engage stakeholders with empathy and influence. Analytical and strategic, yet hands-on in your approach, you thrive in complex environments where you can challenge legacy practices and deliver future-fit solutions. Experience in project management, change leadership, and working in values-based or not-for-profit organisations will be highly regarded.
